Welcome Aboard: Investing in Our Team

Nexus recently welcomed Harsh Narsinghani, Vice President & Portfolio Manager, as the newest member of the investment team. His arrival is the latest step in the long-term evolution of Nexus and our investment team.

Our longstanding clients will have seen a few iterations of our investment team, starting will Bill Berghuis in 1988. We’re pleased to continue the growth of our team as it is an integral part of our business. In fact, we were quickly impressed with how well Harsh’s thinking aligned with the Nexus investment philosophy and team-based approach. As part of our long-term succession planning effort, we look forward to his contributions to continuing our track record of investment success.

At Nexus, Harsh will focus on fundamental equity research and financial analysis across several sectors of the North American equity market. He will be an active contributor to the investment team’s approach to security selection and portfolio construction. He’ll also be involved in our regular portfolio reviews and presentations for clients.

Before joining Nexus, Harsh worked at other investment management firms where he specialized in equity research and portfolio construction. He has over a decade of experience in the investment industry and has held progressively senior roles at leading Canadian investment firms, supporting global, international and emerging market portfolios. He has an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and is a CFA charterholder.

Harsh started his career as an engineer in the technology industry, but his passion for investing inspired him to switch to the investment industry early on. He is an avid follower of cricket and more recently, he can be found at the driving range improving his golf game. He also enjoys travelling the globe and has built quite the collection of Starbucks city mugs along the way!

You can read more about Harsh here.
